How to care for your moss bowl
Because the moss is no longer alive, it means you don’t need to feed it, prune it, or water it.
All the benefits of a beautiful house plant but with absolutely no maintenance and so much longer lasting than cut flowers.
Here is a guide on where to position it in the home...
Inside or out?
It needs to be inside, in the dry. it is no longer growing so must never be left outdoors.
Light or shade?
Preserved moss is happy in all light conditions except direct sunlight, which can dry it out and dim its natural colour and vibrancy.
Hot or cold?
The moss must be kept at room temperature. It must be kept away from fires and other direct heat sources. It also hates rooms that are cold and damp.
Which room?
Any room suitable for humans also suits preserved moss, except bathrooms (It won’t enjoy being in a wet of steamy place such as a shower cubicle).
Bathrooms?
Preserved moss likes humidity but not excessively damp conditions. It won’t enjoy being in a wet of steamy place such as a shower cubicle.
Don't touch it
We know it is tempting but try not to touch it or position it against walls or fabrics. We use natural dyes after the preservation process which might rub off.
