A classically shaped urn style footed vase with twin scallop shell handles. The vase has a pedestal base and trumpet shaped body with fluted banding. Display as a standalone piece or fill with fresh, dried or faux blooms.

THE STORY: Dartmouth Pottery, situated in the south Devon town of Dartmouth, was established in 1947 and is still operating. Their products are similar in many respects to traditional Devon wares. Between 1954 and 1960 some 200 different numbered moulded shapes were made in particular flower arranging vases, planters and similar items as this was a popular pastime of the period.

CONDITION: This piece has the usual crackles/glaze imperfections that you would expect for a used item of this age. There are no major visible issue to point out.
