Vermillion – vintage Bohemian glass vase, cherry red with lime and aubergine detail, 28cm

Vermillion is a large Bohemian glass vase in vibrant cherry red. Bold in scale and colour, it makes a striking centrepiece for flowers or as a standalone decorative statement.

THE STORY
Dating from around 1930, Vermillion is thought to be from the Tomschick glassworks. The opaque vermillion glass is layered between two clear sheets, with splashes of lime green and aubergine adding depth and artistry.

CONDITION
In good vintage condition with no major issues to note, apart from a small 5mm fade in the glass visible when held to the light (see photo).
